Chicken Pot with Fish Maw and Cordyceps Flower

Swanson Clear Chicken Broth 1L
Dried Fish Maw 100g
Chicken 1 Whole( 1.5 kg) Cut into pieces
Water 1.5L
Ginger 3 Slices
Stalks Spring Onion 2pcs
Shaoxing Wine 1 tbsp
Red Dates 8 Dried (deseeded)
Longans 10 Dried
Fresh Cordyceps Flower 20g
Goji Berries 10g
Soak the dried fish maw in water overnight.
Soak the dried red dates and dried longans for 15 minutes until soft.
Bring a pot of water to boil, add ginger, spring onion and Shaoxing wine. Blanch the fish maw for 5 minutes.
Take out the fish maw. Throw away the water.
Blanch the chicken in a pot of water.
Bring half box of Swanson Clear Chicken Broth and water to boil. Add fish maw, chicken, red dated and dried longans.
Cover the lid and boil for 45 minutes to 1 hour in low heat.
Add cordyceps flower and boil for 15 minutes.
Add goji berries and boil for 1 minute. To Serve.
Enjoy a bowl of soup first, then add the remaining Swanson Clear Chicken Broth and other ingredients as a hot pot. (Suggest to add one more box of Chicken Stock to keep the richness of the soup)

-Fish maw tube or North Atlantic fish maw are good enough for to make soups or hot pot.

– Fresh Cordyceps flowers cannot cook for too long, (not more than 15 minutes). Otherwise, the nutrition will be lost, and its flavor will gone too.
